It’s also home to the Ebenezer Baptist Church and the well-preserved boyhood home of Dr. Martin Luther King,  part of the Martin Luther King National Historic Park. The Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church is filled with history, reverence, and meaning. It is the place where Dr. King’s father was a pastor. It’s also where Dr. King was baptized and was later co-pastor.

The Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta is also well worth visiting.
